The Coutu Research Group and the MEMS and Advanced Microsystems Laboratory in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Marquette University conducts advanced microsystem, device fabrication, and materials research to develop state-of-the-art microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), nanoelectromechanical systems (NEMS), and smart system technologies such as: membrane sensors and actuators, phase change materials, micro-electrical contacts and micro-switches, energy harvesting and storage, and micro-grids.
