“Power Struggle,” a documentary film seven years in the making and directed by Robbie Leppzer, premiered at the Vermont International Film Festival.
“Power Struggle” followed citizen activists as they organized to close the Vermont Yankee nuclear power plant in the wake of increasing safety violations.
The film is a, “quintessential story about grassroots activism and participatory democracy in Vermont,” as citizens struggle to participate in decisions about a safe and sustainable energy future.
A Turning Tide Production, the film was made in association with HBO and NHK-Japan.
